Essential Kanban Condensed
About this book
A condensed statement of the Kanban Method, distilled from Anderson's longer blue book into about eighty pages. It sets out the values, the change management principles and the service delivery principles, then the general practices of visualise, limit work in progress, manage flow, make policies explicit, implement feedback loops and improve collaboratively. There is a chapter on the cadences, meaning the meetings that carry information around a Kanban service, and another on metrics and the reports that go with them. The treatment of classes of service and of upstream work is brief and still enough to act on. Useful as a reference you can read in an evening and then keep to hand.
