Scrum Product Ownership
About this book
Galen writes for the product owner who is accountable for value in a Scrum team and has found that the Scrum Guide says very little about how to deliver it. The book covers the backlog as a working artefact, writing and splitting items, the daily relationship with the developers and the harder political work of refusing a stakeholder without losing them. Navigating the forest and the trees is the recurring theme, which is that a product owner holds the product vision and the detail of the next sprint at the same time and is judged on both. The third edition adds material on scaling and on product ownership outside software.
