Lean Product Management

Mangalam Nandakumar

About this book

Nandakumar wrote this for the gap between a business idea stated in one sentence and a product a team can begin. The method runs from naming the business outcome, through the impact the product would have to have and the measures that would show it, to the smallest set of features that could deliver them. Later chapters deal with constraints that are real rather than assumed away, meaning budget, regulation, existing systems and the people already committed elsewhere. It is more prescriptive than most product books and reads as a workbook, which suits somebody holding a mandate and no method.
